This patient is in her mid 40's. These series of pictures show how an implant can be used to
restore a missing front tooth immediately following extraction.
This patient was sent to me two days after these implants were placed.
One of the front teeth is an implant temporary crown that was placed 2 days after the implant was placed. (The whiter tooth is the temporary.) By placing the temporary implant crown immediately after the implant placement, patient avoids wearing a removable denture, and the temporary crown supports the gum tissue around the implant.
The patient is getting three implant crowns and three
regular crowns. The impression for all these crowns is
made together so that the lab technician can
make them all together in one model.
